Honda Creates ‘Sonic Civic’ to Celebrate Hedgehog’s 25th Birthday

Honda is helping celebrate the 25th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Creating the "Sonic Civic," Honda teamed up with SEGA as the game celebrates its 25th birthday. Based on the turbocharged 2016 Honda Civic Touring Sedan, the Sonic Civic will make its debut during this year's San Diego Comic Con at SEGA's sold-out Sonic the Hedgehog 25th Anniversary event at the House of Blues in San Diego. Featured on and throughout the modified vehicle is Sonic and Sonic's world, featuring custom wheels and tires that represent Sonic's infamous red shoes and gold rings. The exterior boasts a one-of-a-kind Sonic the Hedgehog design and bespoke paint scheme, while inside the interior has Sonic the Hedgehog front and rear seats with Katzkin Blue Leather and custom embroidered logos.

The Sonic Civic was designed and customized by Fox Marketing Cars, based in York, Pennsylvania.
