This week&#39;s <b>car review</b> | Questions and Observations

I had the misfortune of renting a Toyota Prius this past week. If you're ever offered one, run, do not walk away from it (at a brisk walking pace, you'll outrun it). This is a car the performed so badly that at times I was wondering if the engine was actually running or if the car was simply rolling forward. This car lost speed on moderate hills. I'd hate to see it try to climb a mountain. It has blind spots you hide Detroit in (debt and all). It handled like a barge. It would turn if the current was favorable. The only pro was that it was comfortable but that gets negated by the white knuckle experience of trying to drive it in traffic.
