The first Maserati SUV is still in its early stages of testing.

AutoGuide.com's spy photographers have caught the Levante mule cold-weather testing in Northern Sweden and it appears that the Italian automaker still hasn't developed a full body prototype for its upcoming SUV. Interestingly enough, the last time we saw the Levante mule testing it sported a red body, while the latest mule has a blue one.

Regardless, the Maserati Levante is expected to be built on the same platform as the Ghibli and Quattroporte, which explains the high-riding Ghibli we've seen being used as a mule. Naturally there's additional bodywork to resemble the an SUV and hopefully Maserati will have a true prototype soon so we can get a better idea of what's to come.

The Ford Shelby GT350R is helping find a cure for diabetes.

The American automaker donated the first production Shelby GT350R to the Barrett-Jackson auction this weekend with all the proceeds going to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). This past week was dominated by our coverage of the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.

While not a review, it's hard to ignore the attention our Detroit Auto Show coverage videos attracted. There was plenty of new vehicles revealed in Detroit, including a new Ford GT, a new Nissan Titan, a production-ready Acura NSX and a pickup truck concept from an unlikely automaker: Hyundai.

Just before we took off for Detroit, we had the chance to review GM's new supercar killer, the Corvette Z06. Power comes from a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that makes 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, sent straight to the rear wheels through a seven-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.

Our 2015 Acura RLX P-AWS review is also getting some attention. There are certain qualities of this car that should be commended, but not all is good in the new RLX. Read the review to find out why.

Fourth up this week is our look at the 2015 Nissan Murano. A striking new design now covers the Murano, which also now packs more cargo room.

Lastly, folks are still interested in Toyota's new hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle, the Mirai. Capable of 300 miles on a single tank, the only bi-product that comes from the Mirai's tailpipe is water. Is this the answer to sustainable driving?
